Yokohama Foreigner’s Cemetery

Yokohama Foreigner's Cemetery

I’m just back from Japan today and the jet lag is hitting harder than I’d like. I’ll put this week’s Cemetery of the Week up tomorrow. Sorry for the delay!

We’ve been to Japan four times and so I can understand how brutal the jet lag is coming back in this direction. One time I slept 16 hours straight!

Oh, and I don’t think that I mentioned before, but I really enjoyed your article about the Aoyama cemetery. It’s one of our favorites too.

Thanks! I wanted to get to the graves of the 47 Ronin too, but that didn’t happen this trip. Have you been?

      • Kelly says:

Yes, I went there in 2007 on a rainy day. It was very atmospheric with incense smoke curling up through the mist. Please feel free to email me and I would be happy to send you the pictures I took.

Get your rest, Loren, it’s not your final one – pun intended. I have a friend over there who expressed the same sentiment.
